The WSET Level 2 course is a beginner to intermediate level qualification that explores wines for those working in the industry or wine and spirits lovers. You don’t need any previous wine knowledge to join our WSET level 2 London course. As soon as you book your Level 2 course, you will receive your study pack within seven working days. It’s extremely important that you book well in advance in order to have enough time to study before the start of the course. You need to allocate a minimum of 10 hours of self study before the start of the course. Please be aware that the weekend course format is intense.

All our WSET courses are taught face to face at the Corinthia Hotel in Central London.

The WSET level 2 course is the best way to start your wine career. The WSET level 2 course is open to all kind of students. However, the WSET level 2 course is particularly relevant if you are looking for a job in the wine industry. This two day weekend course teaches the fundamentals of wine.

We run small-size groups of 14 students maximum.

The duration of the entire course is 18 hours over a weekend - (Saturday and Sunday).

All our WSET level 2 courses start from 10:00 am until 19:00 pm.

To gain this qualification students need to pass a multiple-choice paper of 50 questions. The exam will take place at the end of the second day of the WSET level 2 course and it will last for 60 minutes. A mark of 55% required to pass.

All students who pass will receive a certificate and a lapel pin.

Terms and conditions

All bookings of all our WSET courses and wine events are processed on the understanding and basis that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions.

Cancellations. Wine Training School offers a refund policy on cancellations only during the 14 days cooling-off period (customer cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations). This cancellation period starts on the day that you booked your course or event. After that period of time, Wine Training School will not offer a refund policy on cancellations under any circumstances.

All Wine Training School events or WSET courses are subject to minimum numbers. Wine Training School reserves the right to change tutors, reschedule, cancel, close or combine events or WSET courses if necessary at any particular time.

WSET courses and examination dates are fixed to the course onto which you book and any transfer to an alternative date will incur an administration fee of £50.00 plus vat per student. All transfer requests must be made by email to mail@winetraining.co.uk at least 14 days before the original examination date. A minimum of 14 days notice is necessary to transfer and register to any future course depending on the availability of that particular course. Our policy is first come first serve. To avoid any issues with spaces for future courses we strongly recommend to select the future date of your choice with enough anticipation.

If you have any special condition that requires special consideration when it comes to the examination of any of our courses, you must send us an email with a medical certificate signed by a GP that proves your special condition with twenty five (25) working days before the actual examination. This email needs to be sent before your make the booking to allow Wine Training School to communicate this situation to the main WSET office in order to make special arrangements for your examination.
